We recommend you structure your abstract using the following headings:
- Introduction or background: Write a summary of your work and it's importance in the given field.
- Methods: Describe the methods, materials and practices that you have used as well as patients that have participated in your study.
- Results: What was established? You can also quote the most important data.
- Conclusion: In one final sentence explain why you think your study is important.

Frequently asked questions
Yes. The limit is 400 words and 3000 characters. This does not include the title, the authors and the contacts. Separate fields are provided for these.
Do not include grant acknowledgements in the abstract content. Use the appropriate field. Do not cite references in the abstract, as they are not allowed and will be deleted.
Failure to comply with the above requirements leads to automatic rejection of the submission or this information may be deleted by the abstract services and some rephrasing may occur.
Changes to your presentation in the last moment will not be allowed. Any changes should be done in good time prior to the presentation, in which case, you can reach out to us through the "Contact us"-Form.
